Iconic Start and Finish at Olympic Stadium

As you cross the threshold of this iconic landmark, you can’t help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Running in the footsteps of Jesse Owens
The Nazis intended that the 1936 Olympics show the world the superiority of the Aryan race. Jesse Owens, a black American, won four gold medals at the Olympics. This was a significant achievement and an important legacy for equality.
All runners of the s25 finish their challenge by running in the same Olympic arena as the iconic Jesse Owens.
Historical Significance with French Connection
The s25 Berlin Läuft has a storied past, dating back to its inaugural edition in 1981. The first race of its kind, originally conceived by the French forces stationed in Berlin, the race has evolved into a beloved tradition that celebrates the city’s beauty. The original race was called ‘25km de Berlin’ and saw the French soldiers block off the roads in the city centre.

Getting to the start line is a breeze, thanks to Berlin’s efficient public transport system. With convenient access from all corners of the city, you can focus on your race without the stress of navigating traffic or parking.
